Due May 7th 2025 to board an airplane!

The Travel Driver license, also know as the Federal ID or Real ID, will be required to board an airplane starting May 7th, 2025. Otherwise you will have to bring your passport or Passport Card on every flight with you foreign or domestic. The Travel Driver License will also be required to enter a Federal building.

All you need to bring with you is your Birth Certificate or current Passport, and 2 pieces of mail from two different companies with your name and residential address on the piece of mail. As long as you can provide your Social Security Number, a Social Security Card is NOT required.
